CSC may remain steel bar and wire prices unchanged for Oct/Nov

China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steel product maker in Taiwan is going to release its list prices of steel wire and bar for October/November in the end of this month.
It’s known that CSC cut its list prices of steel wire and bar by NT$1,300/ton to NT$25,500/ton for September.
Industry source said that CSC might remain its list prices of steel wire and bar unchanged for October/November due to sluggish demand.
In addition, since CSC had reduced its list prices of steel wire and bar substantially by NT$1,300/ton for September, it’s said that the firm had limited space to cut the prices further.
Affected by these factors, it’s predicted that CSC would keep its list prices of steel wire and bar unchanged for October/November.
