H2 scrap base prices rise slightly in Japanese Kanto region

It’s reported that the base prices of H2 scrap in the Japanese Kanto region rose slightly to ￥25,500~￥26,000/ton since August 3rd.
It’s known that Sanko Japan increased the scrap purchase prices by ￥1,000/ton at its Hiratsuka works for the period from August 4th through August 10th.
Accordingly, the latest transaction prices of H2 scraps in the Kanto region reached ￥27,000/ton.
The local scrap distributors have seen the positive outlook for the scrap exports.
