Ukraine’s H1 steel product exports fall by 6.8% y-o-y

According to statistics released by the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), Ukraine exported 11.729 million tons of steel products in the first half of this year, reducing by 6.8% year on year
In the first six months of this year, the country’s imports of steel products totaled 875,100 tons, increasing by 8.8% year on year.
In June, the country exported 1.846 million tons of steel products, falling by 21.7% and it imported 162,100 tons of steel products, decreasing by 25%, all compared to that in the same period of a year earlier.
