SAIL’s July crude steel output rises by 4% y-o-y
|
Indian steelmaker Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) said that its crude steel output totaled 1.13 million tons in July, rising by 4% year on year.
SAIL indicated that the improved economy index help to boost the firm’s output in July.
In July, SAIL’s productivity at its blast furnace (BF) soared by 6% while its energy consumption decreased by 3%, both compared to that in the same period of a year earlier.
