Turkish H1 steel pipe exports rise by 4% y-o-y

According to statistics released by the Turkish Steel Pipe Manufacturers Association (CEBID), the country’s exports of steel pipes in the first half of this year amounted to 852,638 tons, rising by 4% year on year.
The export values generated by steel pipes totaled US$776 million, falling by 3% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
In the first six months of this year, the country’s exports of seamless steel pipes were at 120,000 tons, up by 3% and that of welded steel pipes was at 49,000 tons, falling by 5%, both compared to that in the same period of the previous year.
