Turkish July steel export value shrank by 15.4% y-o-y

It is reported that Turkey’s July steel export values reached US$1.26 billion, growing by 1.8% for the same period of 2011 while falling by 15.4% from a month earlier.
The steel products were ranked 4th largest exporting item in July by export value, while the first largest one is motor vehicle with US$1.5 billion, which was 22.3% down year-on-year.
The country’s steel export volume for Jan-Jul period reached US$ 9.33 billion, which was 4.1% up from the same period of 2011.
