US’s scrap quotes to Taiwan continue rising

It’s reported that the quotes of the US container scrap to Taiwan have continued rising this week.
It’s known that a major scrap supplier in the US offered HMS 80:20 (1&2) and shredded scrap quoted at US$392/ton C&F and US$399/ton C&F respectively to Taiwan this week, rising by US$2/ton from a week earlier.
It’s estimated that the actual selling prices would be at US$390~US$397/ton C&F.
For the prospect, traders predicted that the US scrap quotes to Taiwan may surge to US$400/ton C&F in the near future, driven by continuously rising scrap prices in the international market.
