South Korea’s H beam imports drop substantially
|
According to data released by the Korea Iron and Steel Association (KOSA), South Korea’s H beam imports totaled 35,079 tons in June, decreasing substantially by 55.2% year on year and falling by 30.6% from a month ago.
In June, the country’s H beam imports from China dropped obviously by 53.6% month on month to 29,842 tons.
It’s analyzed that the decreased H beam imports were caused by the factor that the South Korean domestic mills such as Hyundai Steel and Dongkuk Steel made measurements to defense the H beam imports.
