Indian Sesa Goa’s Liberia project to produce 10 million tons of iron ore

It’s reported that Sesa Goa, the largest producer and exporter of iron ore in India expected its Liberian Western Clusters project to produce 10 million tons of iron ore in the first phase.
PK Mukherjee, the general manager of Sesa Goa said that the firm expected the first shipments from Western Clusters project within fiscal year 2013/14.
At present, Sesa Goa owns 51% shares at the Western Clusters project. Also, this is the first time that the firm acquires overseas assets.
Furthermore, Sesa Goa expected the iron ore products from Western Clusters project would reach 30 million tons in the second phase.
