US’s crude steel output falls by 1.4%
|
According to statistics released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the US produced 1.843 million short tons of crude steel in the week ended on July 14th, down by1.4% from 1.869 million short tons in a week earlier.
In the given period of time, the capacity utilization rate of the US steelmaking facilities was at 74.6%, lower than 75.6% in a week earlier.
