German steel industry hindered by debit crisis
|
According to the report of the German steel federation Wirtschaftsvereinigung Stahl, the Germany’s steel enterprises such as ThyssenKrupp and Salzgitter may face difficulty to achieve the production target this year.
It’s known that the development of the German steel industry have been hindered by the debit crisis in the euro zone and lots of steelmakers in Germany have been forced to close the mils.
In the first half of this year, Germany’s steel production declined by 6% year on year to 21.90 million tons.
