Taiwanese rebar mills' June sales revenues fall
|
Due to several raining days in May, most of Taiwanese rebar mills' June sales revenues decreased by 20% from a month ago.
Tung Ho's June sales revenue has dropped by 19.4%; Feng Hsin's June sales revenue fell by 22.3% and Hai Kwang's sales revenue in June reduced by 17.3%, all compared to that in a month ago.
Even though most Taiwanese rebar mills' June sales revenue dropped, their Q2 sales have still stayed firm at the level of this Q1.
Feng Hsin said its Q2 sales revenues were at NT$9.428 billion, rising by 5.3%; Tung Ho's surged by 6.2% while Hai Kwang's was down by 2%, all compared to that in a quarter ago.
The Taiwanese rebar mills expect their shipment volumes to rise in July if the weather condition turns better.
