China’s stainless steel prices fall on slow demand
|
According to report, China’s export prices for stainless steel have kept falling over the past month as the demand has remained weak, especially for 300 series.
The market participants expect the demand so far will remain flat as June. However, there were some purchase activities in last week as customers expected the price would not fall further.
The range for price cut became smaller at about US$50~US$70/ton for the past month, in comparison of the price down of US$70~US$150/ton in mid-June.
