Taiwanese steel pipe makers offer discounts to gain orders

Recently, some of the steel pipe makers in Taiwan have offered discounts for customers to gain orders as they’ve seen the major upstream raw material supplier such as China Steel Corp. (CSC) and Chung Hung Steel would cut list prices.
China Steel Corp. is going to release its new list prices next week. After that, Chung Hung Steel will also launch its prices.
It’s been seen that the two major steel companies in Taiwan would cut the prices of hot rolled steel by more than NT$500/ton.
Affected by these factors, some steel pipe producers in Taiwan have offered discounts to gain orders.
