Taiwanese Tang Eng’s June sales revenues fall by 32.25% m-o-m
|
Tang Eng, one of the major stainless steel mills in Taiwan has announced its June sales revenues totaled NT$965 million, decreasing substantially by 32.25% from a month earlier, touching the lowest level since April, 2009.
Tang Eng said the cheaper import source from China and South Korea and the falling LME nickel prices caused most buyers to stay at wait and see position.
In addition, the lower output along with the decreased base prices in June finally made Tang Eng's June sales drop further.
In the first half of this year, Tang Eng posted sales revenues of NT$8.1 billion, reducing by 22.46% year on year.
