Iran’s steel imports reduce in Q1
|
According to statistics, Iran’s imports of finished and semi-finished steel products totaled 1.69 million tons in the first quarter of the Iranian year during March 21st through June 20th, falling by 23% year on year.
Among them, the imports of billets decreased by 28% year on year to 706,000 tons.
For the prospect, it’s been see that Iran’s steel imports would reduce further in the following few months due to the international economic sanction.
