China’s unwrought copper imports fall by 17.5% m-o-m in June

According to data released by the China’s customs, China imported 346,200 tons of unwrought copper in June, falling by 17.5% from a month earlier, hitting the lowest level since this year.
The copper prices dropped after the statistic was revealed as China was the global major fine copper consumer.
The major contract prices of copper in Shanghai Exchange Futures fell by 0.18% from a day earlier on July 10th. Also, the international copper prices decreased to US$7,550/ton from US$7,570/ton.
