Feng Hsin cuts rebar prices for this week
|
Reportedly, Feng Hsin, one of the major rebar makers in Taiwan has decided to cut the list prices of rebar and section steel by NT$300/ton and NT$500/ton respectively for this week.
After the adjustment, the rebar price dropped to NT$19,000/ton. The section steel prices are at NT$21,100~NT$21,300/ton.
However, the company remained the scrap purchase prices unchanged at NT$11,500~NT$12,300/ton.
The downstream buyers said that it’s the good time to purchase as they believe the scrap prices have touched the bottom.
