US steel mills raise sheet prices

It’s reported that the US steel mills have hiked the steel sheet prices since last week.
It’s known that Severstal North America hiked the steel sheet prices by US$40/short ton. After adjustment, its prices of hot rolled coils are at US$635/short ton; that of cold rolled coils and galvanized steel is at US$735/short ton, have become effective from July 6th.
Also, Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) North America announced to raise the sheet spot prices by US$40/short tons, have become effective immediately.
After that, the steel mills in the US including Nucor, AK Steel, ArcelorMittal have all decided to increase the steel sheet prices by US$40/short ton.
