Tisco, Shanxi Baotai Nonferrous Metals jointly build stainless processing base

It is reported that Taiyuan Iron&Steel Group (Tisco) and Shanxi Nonferrous Metals Group have jointly established the Shanxi Baotai New Metal Development Co., Ltd.
The new firm is expected to become the world's largest titanium and stainless steel processing and sales base. The main products are titanium and titanium alloy forgings, extrusions, large diameter extruded tube, titanium strip and titanium welded pipe, etc.
It is learned that the ownership, TISCO Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and Baoji titanium Industry Co.,Ltd. had signed the agreement of the establishment of Shanxi Baotai New Metal Development Co., Ltd. in November last year.
It is expected that the new company's annual production of titanium, stainless steel, and nickel products will be 200,000 tons.
