Turkey’s iron and steel import values soar by 15.7% y-o-y in May

According to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the country’s import values of iron and steel amounted to US$1.83 million in May, rising by 15.7% year on year and increasing by 2.6% from a month earlier.
In the first five months of this year, the country’s import values of iron and steel totaled US$8.4 billion, rising by 6.5% year on ear.
