Taiwanese steel pipe makers cut export prices for September
|
It’s reported that the Taiwanese steel pipe makers have cut the export prices by US$10~US$15/ton as they think the upstream raw materials suppliers will cut the prices further.
Dealers predicted that China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan might cut the September list prices slightly; therefore, Chung Hung Steel might decrease its September list prices by NT$300~NT$500/ton.
It’s expected that the Taiwanese steel pipe producers would receive better sales in the Q3, driven by rising demand from the US market.
