ThyssenKrupp may decrease working hours

Due to weak demand, ThyssenKrupp is considering shortening the workshop's working hours and the plan is called "Kurzarbeit".
The company's spokesman said that ThyssenKrupp was in talks with its works councils regarding whether it should bring in shorter working hours or not.
It is not clear that when the result will come out.
Though German employment practice already allows ThyssenKrupp to considers the business's needs to choose some overtime, or slightly reduced hours, the company still doesn't know if it is enough or need to choose Kuzarbeit.
