Shasteel cuts construction steel prices

Reportedly, China’s Shasteel announced its prices policy for construction steel products.
The firm decided to cut the list prices of deformed steel bars by RMB30/ton. As a result, its list prices of HRB335 deformed steel bars with diameters of 14-25mm are at RMB4,020/on; that of HRB400 deformed steel bars with diameter of 14-25mm is at RMB4,410/ton.
Also, it cut the list prices of carbon steel wires and coiled reinforced bars by RMB30/ton and RMB50/ton respectively. Therefore, the latest prices of Q235 high speed steel wires with diameters of 6.5mm are at RMB4,170/ton and that of HRB400 coiled reinforced bars with diameters of 8mm is at RMB4,350/ton.
The above prices have become effective from July 1st, 2012.
