|
According to report, Turkish alloy flat steel imports declined slightly in April due to European economic condition that affected the buyers of Turkish manufactured products.
Data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) that alloy flat steel imports in April were 107,007 tons, up by 48% from the same period last year; however, it dropped by 18% from March.
The major buyers of alloy flat steel, mostly from the sectors of European machinery and automotive, are seen with further slow demand due to the economic crisis and in turn to make Turkey to import less flat steel.
