China’s exports of stainless steel flat products soar by 11% m-o-m in May
|
According to statistics released by the Chinese Customs, China exported 142,676 tons of stainless steel flat products in May, soaring by 11% from a month earlier while decreasing by 19% year on year.
Meanwhile, China’s imports of stainless steel flat products totaled 50,648 tons in May, increasing by 19% from a month earlier while declining by 15% year on year.
In the first five months of this year, the country’s exports of stainless steel flat products totaled 604,194 tons, falling by 16% in comparison of that in the same period of a year ago.
In the given period of time, the country imported 238,463 tons of stainless steel flat products, falling by 27% year on year.
