South Korean construction firm wins US$2 billion contract in Saudi Arabia

It's reported that GS Engineering and Construction in South Korea has won US$1.8 billion contract to build 4 petrochemical plants and other facilities in Saudi Arabia. According to the company, the plants will begin construction by 2015 under an agreement with Saudi's oil giant Aramco and Japan's Sumitomo Chemical.
It is the biggest overseas order a South Korean firm has won this year and is a part of US$3.2 billion project for a petrochemical complex in northern Jeddah.
