Taiwanese steel pipe prices cut for July
|
Some of the steel pipe distributors in Taiwan reportedly curtailed their market prices for July by the latest prices from Chung Hung Steel that the prices of black steel pipe with small outside diameter pre-galvanized steel pipe and galvanized steel pipe will be reduced by NT$500/ton and NTD300/ton respectively, according to price down level on base materials.
Those distributors indicated the price down level on black steel pipe is higher than that of raw material in Chung Hung Steel. Thus, they hope to adjust their price difference closely by latest prices released for July.
On the other hand, Chung Hung Steel released its prices for July that the prices of carbon steel hot rolled and cold rolled coil is declined by NT$350/ton. Also, the part of galvanized steel is cut by NT$500/ton.
