Brazil decides to start AD investigation into seamless steel pipes from China

Reportedly, Brazil decided to start the antidumping (AD) investigation into seamless carbon steel pipes from China. The customs code of the product involved in this case is 73041900.
In fact, in last September, Brazil has imposed an AD duty rate of US$743/ton on the seamless line pipes with diameters up to 5” from China, the validation is five years.
Chinese steel pipe producers said though that they will not be impacted by Brazil’s AD imposition, they fear that they may lose the chance to benefit from the growing demand from Brazilian oil and gas development.
