Italy’s steel long product outputs fall in April
|
According to statistics released by the Italian steel producers’ association Federacciai, Italy’s steel long product outputs decreased by 12% year on year in this April and it predicted that the figures will drop further in the following months.
It’s known that the rebar prices have decreased by US$10/ton in the Italian domestic market recently due to sluggish demand.
Industry sources indicated that the rebar price dip was caused by the economic crisis in Italian construction industry, making the producers cut rebar prices to the lowest level since this year.
