India's HRC export price down by $20/ton
|
Because of the slack demand and decreasing international steel prices, India’s export prices of hot rolled coil (HRC) decreased by US$20/ton to US$600~US$605/ton last week.
Some mills said that this price was just for the orders with the huge quantity and the prices for orders remains at about US$620/ton.
It is said that one Indian large mill sold HRC about 10,000 tons which will be shipped in June with the prices of US$603/ton to South-east Asian buyer recently.
Meanwhile, some Chinese mills have stopped exporting and focused on selling domestically due to the higher HRC prices in China,
