Italian metal industry’s turnovers fall in April
|
According to Italy's national statistics office ISTAT, the turnovers of Italian industry decreased by 0.5% month on month and fell by 4.1% year on year in April.
In April, the seasonally-adjusted turnover of energy industry decreased by 9%; that of intermediate goods fell by 1.9% and that fo consumer goods reduced by 1.7%, all compared to that in a month earlier.
In addition, the seasonally-adjusted turnover of metals and metal products manufacturing industry, excluding equipment and machinery decreased by 11.5% month on month in April.
