Venezuela’s construction material index surges by 14.4% y-o-y in May
|
According to data of Venezuelan Central Bank (BCV), the index of the construction materials increased by 1.5% in May, compare to previous month.
Moreover, the index reflects a 14.4% higher than the same month last year.
Among them, the elevator enjoyed a sharp rise of 17.2% in May since the country face difficulty to import this product.
Meanwhile, steel products were stable in May, which only increased merely 0.4%, according to BCV.
However, these products already increased 16.4% within last 12 months.
