Argentina’s April crude steel output reduces by 3.4% m-o-m

According to data, Argentina’s crude steel output totaled 480,000 tons in April, falling by 3.4% from a month earlier while increasing by 1.3% year on year.
In April, the country’s production of hot rolled steel was at 446,000 tons, dropping by 8.4% month on month.
Among them, 214,200 tons were hot rolled wide strips, falling by 21.1% and 231,800 tons were steel long products, decreasing by 4.6%, both compared to that in a month ago.
In the first four months of this year, the country’s crude steel production amounted to 1.8 million tons, rising by 4.4% in comparison of that in the same period of a year ago.
