Feng Hsin cuts rebar prices for this week
|
Feng Hsin, one of the major rebar producers in Taiwan announced to cut the list prices for section steel, scrap and H beams for this week.
The firm decided to reduce the purchase prices of the rebar and scrap by NT$200/ton respectively and to cut the section steel prices by NT$300/ton.
After the adjustment, the company’s latest prices of rebar are at NT$19,800/ton; that of section steel is at NT$21,600~NT$21,800/ton and that of scrap is at NT$12,100~NT$12,900/ton.
Industry sources indicated that Feng Hsin decided to cut the prices in order to stimulate the current weak market situation.
