US Steel Service Center’ shipments rise by 9.7% y-o-y in May

According to data, the US Steel Service Center’s shipments totaled 3.842 million short tons in May, rising by 9.7% year on year.
In the first five months of this year, the US Steel Service Center’s shipments amounted to 18.578 million short tons, increasing by 7.5% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
In the end of May, the steel inventory totaled 9.08 million short tons in the US Steel Service Center, soaring by 9.5% year on year while down by 0.7% from a month earlier.
