Australia to review AD duty on HRC imports from Asia countries

It is reported that The Australian Customs and Border Protection Service has set antidumping (AD) investigation of hot rolled coil (HRC) imported from Asia countries including Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan.
The application has requested by BlueScope Steel Limited and BlueScope Steel (AIS) Pty. Ltd. (BlueScope) to investigate the hot rolled coils imports which have under value against the local market prices.
It subjected to damage and cause major problem for Australia steelmakers including less price competition, less profits from normal revenues and so on.
The Customs and Border Protection Service would expect to review the HRC exports to Australia during the period between April 1st, 2011 and March 31st, 2012 to determine whether dumping has occurred.
