Malaysia to request import license on alloy steel products
|
The Malaysian International Trade & Industry Ministry announced that it’s necessary to apply for the import license of eight tariff lines of alloy steel products (HS 7225) begin on June 15th 2012.
The imposition of import license on these products was generally under the Customs (Prohibition of Imports) (Amendment) (No 2) Order 2012.
The main purpose would be able to make sure that imported alloy steel products meet established quality and safety requirements and minimize the importation of sub standards products for imports to Malaysia.
