Malaysia may start AD investigation on steel wire from five countries
|
Amsteel Mills, a member of the Lion Group in Malaysia submitted to have an antidumping investigation on steel wires from five countries including China, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey and Taiwan on May 28th.
Ministry of International Trade and Industry Malaysia (MITI) is currently analyzing this case and it will decide whether to accept the lawsuit or not within 30 days.
In recent months, Malaysian Iron And Steel Industry Federation (MISIF) has strongly projected against the imported steel products, such as hot rolled coils which enjoy low import duty.
