FPG's stainless steel facility to begin operation in Fujian in Q1 next year

It's reported that the stainless steel facility of Taiwan-based Formosa Plastics Group (FPG) built in Fujian's Zhangzhou City will be put into operation in the first quarter of next year.
The construction work which started in April 2010 is known the largest stainless steel project in Fujian.
The total investment in the project is expected to reach US$1.8 billion at its completion.
Its output capacity is designed to produce 1.8 million tons of cold rolled stainless steel products per year, and is expected to generate an annual output value of RMB 15 billion.
