Hyundai Steel to start construction of No. 2 steel plate plant in July

Reportedly, South Korean Hyundai Steel planned to start the construction of its No.2 steel plate plants in July.
The designed annual production capacity of the No.2 steel plate plant is at 1.5 million tons.
Hyundai Steel is schedule to run the test for the facilities in next April and begin the production in next August.
At the same time, Hyundai Steel is currently installing an additional rolling mill in the No. 1 steel plate plant in order to enhance the annual production capacity to 2 million tons from the current 1.5 million tons.
The company plans to begin the installation in this September and to run the test in December and next January.
