Hyundai Steel’s purchase prices of Japanese H2 scrap drop

Recently, South Korean Hyundai Steel purchased a batch of H2 scrap and Shindachi scrap from Japan with the prices of ￥26,000/ton FOB and ￥29,000/ton FOB, decreasing by ￥1,000/ton respectively from the previous purchase.
It’s analyzed that the price dip was caused by the fact that Tokyo Steel cut the scrap purchase prices by ￥1,000/ton on June 7th.
