Taiwanese screw exports may slide in H2
|
It’s reported that Taiwan’s screw exports may slide in the second half of this year.
In fact, Taiwanese screw makers had good performance in the US market in the first half of this year. However, the debt crisis in euro zone has affected the sales in the US market as well.
According to statistics, Taiwan’s screw exports to the US market totaled 180,000 tons, rising by 6.5% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
However, the country’s screw exports to the European markets have remained slack.
The Taiwanese screw makers said that the exports might turn weak in the second half of this year if the debit crisis in the euro zone is not solved.
