China’s H beam export prices to South Korea slide

Recently, China’s June export quotes of H beams to South Korea have dropped.
It’s known that Masteel offered small-size and medium-size H beams quoted at US$695/ton and US$710~US$720/ton CFR to South Korea respectively, down by US$15~US$20/ton from a month earlier.
It’s analyzed that the decreased H beam price was caused by depreciated South Korean won against the US dollar.
However, the Chinese steelmakers still received few orders from the South Korean buyers due to sluggish demand even though they’ve cut prices to gain order.
