Taiwanese Feng Hsin cuts rebar prices for this week
|
Feng Hsin, one of the major rebar producers in Taiwan announced its price policy for this week. The company decided to cut the rebar and scrap prices by NT$300/ton respectively and to decrease the prices of section steel by NT$500/ton for this week.
After the adjustment, the company’s latest prices of rebar are at NT$20,000/ton; that of section steel is at NT$21,900~NT$22,100/ton and that of scrap is at NT$12,100~NT$12,900/ton.
Market analyst said that Feng Hsin decided to cut the prices as the international scrap prices have continued falling recently.
