South Korean exports down in first four months
|
According to a report released by Korean LG Economic Research Institute on Sunday, South Korea's exports has been hit by the Eurozone crisis and grew only by 0.9% in the first four months of this year, far less than those of main rivals China at 6.9%, Singapore at 5.3%, Indonesia at4.1% and Japan at 3.3%.
China's slower growth by the slump in the European market was one of the main reasons to cause the drop.
The countries whose export performances fell behind Korea were Thailand at -3.4% and Taiwan at -4.9%.
