Jindal Stainless seeks for AD duties on Chinese stainless steel flat products

It’s reported that Jindal Stainless, the largest stainless producer in India has sought to impose the antidumping duty on the metal alloy from China.
Mr. Ramesh Nair, the President of Jindal Stainless said that the firm has requested the Indian government to impose antidumping duties on the cheap stainless steel imported from China, which has hurt the local industry.
He added that the firm requested to impose antidumping duties on cold rolled (CR) stainless steel flat products, accounting for 80%~85% of the domestic consumption.
It’s known that the Indian government imposed antidumping duties on stainless steel flat products from the EU, South Africa, the US and Taiwan in November, 2011, aiming to project the local industry.
