Turkey’s Hascelik commissions 60% of HASPARLAK Cold Treatment Center

Reportedly, Hascelik, a leading special steel producer in Turkey said that it has commissioned 60% of the HASPARLAK Cold Treatment Center at TOSB Taysad Organized Industry Zone in northwestern Turkey.
It’s known that the total investment of this project amounted to €30 million.
Hascelik stated that the HASPARLAK Cold Treatment Center will substitute the peeling line exclusively designed by SMS Schumag AG and it can reach a production speed of 50 m per min and produce the steel products with sizes of 15 mm~80 mm along with tolerance range of h9 and maximum straightness deviation of 0.5 mm.
The new line will help the company to raise its peeled product output capacity to 45,000 tons annually.
