Chung Hung Steel’s May sales revenue down by 3.38% m-o-m

Reportedly, Chung Hung Steel, one of the major steelmakers in Taiwan announced that its sales revenues totaled NT$3.729 billion in May, down by 3.38% from a month earlier, due to weak demand.
In May, the firm’s production of hot rolled steel totaled 136,700 tons and sales volumes were at 178,200 tons, falling obviously from 176,500 tons and 185,300 tons in the previous month respectively.
Industry sources predicted that Chung Hung Steel’s sales revenue might drop further in June due to sluggish and its unchanged list prices for June.
