Spanish steel mills raise domestic prices of deformed steel bar

It’s reported that the Spanish steel mills have hiked the domestic prices of deformed steel bar last week, in spite of sluggish demand and falling international scrap prices.
This week, the Spanish steelmakers’ ex-factory prices of deformed steel bar are at €540/ton, rising by €10/ton in the middle of May.
Meanwhile, it’s said that the price hike has been accepted by buyers.
